Rack-Type CDUs Shipped to Indonesia for Data Center

Date:2026-09-30

Project Overview

For a data center project in Indonesia, SHENGLIN supplied a batch of rack-type CDUs together with dedicated manifolds to support the project's liquid cooling infrastructure. The delivered solution combines 100 kW liquid-to-liquid coolant distribution units  with 10-port manifolds, providing an organized interface between the facility cooling loop and the liquid cooling circuits serving IT equipment.

The supplied rack-type CDUs are designed to manage heat transfer between the facility-side cooling loop and the secondary liquid loop connected to IT equipment. By separating the two cooling circuits, the liquid-to-liquid configuration provides an independent interface for thermal management while allowing the data center cooling infrastructure to be arranged according to the project's requirements. The accompanying manifolds provide multiple connection ports for liquid distribution, helping organize the cooling lines connected to the IT side. Together, the CDU and manifold form an integrated rack-level liquid cooling solution for data center applications.

Project Information

  • Product: Rack-Type CDU and Manifold
  • CDU Type: Liquid-to-Liquid CDU
  • Cooling Capacity: 100 kW
  • Manifold: 10 Ports

Project Features

1. 100 kW Liquid-to-Liquid Cooling Capacity

Each CDU provides a cooling capacity of 100 kW, supporting heat removal from high-density IT equipment through liquid-based thermal management. The liquid-to-liquid design transfers heat from the IT-side coolant loop to the facility-side cooling loop through a controlled heat exchange process.

2. Rack-Level Cooling Architecture

The rack-type configuration allows the CDU to be positioned close to the IT equipment it serves. This arrangement can help simplify the connection between the CDU and the rack-side liquid cooling network while making the overall cooling infrastructure more structured and easier to coordinate within the data center.

3. 10-Port Manifold for Liquid Distribution

Each manifold is equipped with 10 ports, providing multiple connection points for the liquid cooling circuits. The multi-port design helps organize coolant distribution to multiple branches and provides greater flexibility when configuring liquid cooling connections for rack-level applications.

4. Integrated CDU and Manifold Solution

Rather than supplying the heat transfer unit and liquid distribution components separately, SHENGLIN provides the CDU and manifold as a coordinated liquid cooling solution. This helps create a clearer connection between heat exchange and coolant distribution, supporting the deployment of liquid cooling systems in data center environments.

Project Significance

The shipment to Indonesia reflects the growing application of liquid cooling technologies in data centers where traditional air cooling may face increasing challenges as computing loads become more concentrated. By placing the cooling interface closer to the IT racks, rack-type CDUs can provide a practical way to manage liquid cooling at the equipment level while maintaining separation between the facility cooling system and the IT-side coolant loop.

For data centers in Southeast Asia, where continuous equipment operation and effective thermal management are important considerations, modular liquid cooling components can also provide flexibility when developing or upgrading cooling infrastructure. The combination of a 100 kW liquid-to-liquid CDU and 10-port manifold offers a structured approach to heat transfer and coolant distribution for rack-level applications.

With experience in data center thermal management solutions, SHENGLIN continues to develop CDU systems and supporting liquid cooling components for high-density computing environments and evolving data center infrastructure requirements.
