SHENGLIN Liquid CDU for Data Center

Date:2026-08-31

Project Overview

A 100 kW distributed Coolant Distribution Unit  and manifold system is being supplied for a data center application, supporting efficient liquid cooling for high-density computing infrastructure. The solution combines a liquid-to-liquid CDU with a 10-branch manifold to manage coolant distribution and heat transfer between the facility cooling system and IT equipment.
As data center computing density continues to increase, liquid cooling provides an effective approach to managing the higher heat loads generated by modern servers. This project demonstrates the application of a distributed CDU architecture to support reliable and efficient thermal management within data center environments.

· Cooling Capacity: 100 kW
· Manifold: 10 Branches

Project Features

The 100 kW liquid-to-liquid CDU serves as the key thermal management interface between the facility cooling loop and the secondary IT cooling loop. Through controlled coolant circulation and heat exchange, the CDU helps transfer heat generated by high-density computing equipment to the facility-side cooling system while maintaining separation between the two water circuits.
The accompanying 10-branch manifold provides multiple coolant distribution paths for connected cooling equipment. This configuration allows the cooling system to serve multiple branches from a centralized distribution point, helping organize coolant flow and simplify system integration for data center liquid cooling applications.
The distributed configuration also provides greater flexibility for data center deployment. CDU capacity and coolant distribution can be arranged according to the requirements of different IT zones or equipment groups, making the solution suitable for evolving high-density computing environments.

Project Significance

The deployment of this distributed CDU and manifold solution reflects the growing demand for liquid cooling in modern data centers, particularly as AI and high-performance computing place greater thermal demands on IT infrastructure.
By integrating a 100 kW liquid-to-liquid CDU with a 10-branch manifold, the project provides a structured approach to coolant circulation, heat transfer, and distribution. The solution supports the development of scalable liquid cooling infrastructure and demonstrates SHENGLIN's capability to provide customized thermal management solutions for next-generation data centers.
